How We Helped the Australian BPD Foundation Sell Out Their Charity Event

The Australian BPD Foundation Limited aimed to promote a fundraising event to support its mission of spreading education and awareness about Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). The event invited clinicians, mental health experts, and caregivers to expand their understanding of BPD and featured Harvard Professor Lois Choi-Kain, a global expert and director of the Gunderson Personality Disorders Institute in Boston, USA. With her expertise, the Foundation hoped to attract a large number of attendees.

In collaboration with the BPD team, Selegance Marketing Services created a customised Facebook advertising campaign specifically for the event. We targeted clinicians and mental health professionals in the Greater Melbourne Area, aiming to inform them about the event and encourage attendance.

We ran the campaign for a few days. The campaign received great engagement, and the low cost per click enabled the Australian BPD Foundation Limited to reach a large audience on a relatively slim budget. It was an overall success, and together with word of mouth and the buzz created by the BPD Foundation, the event sold out.
